🚓 This summer, the Connecticut Department of Transportation, in collaboration with state and local law enforcement and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration NHTSA, is launching a high-visibility anti-speeding enforcement campaign from July 1 to September 5, 2024. This campaign aims to increase awareness and promote safer driving behaviors with increased speed limit enforcement.   In light of this, it's important to recognize that while law enforcement plays a vital role in keeping our roads safe, #engineers complement these efforts through thoughtful design. By implementing features like narrow lanes, bump-outs, and more, we help naturally slow down vehicles, enhancing safety for all road users. M&J Engineering, P.C. is proud to contribute to making our roads safer every day. Here's to designing safer roads, one project at a time. 🚧🛣️   For more details, check out the press release from CTDOT: https://lnkd.in/eN_Y9bUR #RoadSafety #SpeedManagement #EngineeringExcellence
