Back in May, after almost a year, I finally took a much-needed vacation to Florida. The relaxation and change of pace sparked something wonderful – a renewed love for reading! 📚 After this vacation, I jumped into a 2024 reading challenge (5 months late) and I’m already 6 books ahead of schedule! Maybe I should update my 25 book target.... Huge shoutout to Goodreads for making this journey so much fun. Their platform is awesome for tracking progress, discovering new reads, and connecting with fellow book lovers. Honestly, I am finding myself spending more time on Goodreads than any other app. This whole experience reminded me how important it is to take breaks and find new passions. Our team typically starts our weekly meeting with some sort of an ice-breaker. Sometimes a game, sometimes a prompt, sometimes just a question. I have found that some people have strong opinions on this topic because it can be viewed as an unnecessary use of time. With our team at Lunova Group, we have a genuine curiosity about one another and I think its been a great way for us to laugh, challenge ourselves, and learn something new together. We have done a lot of them and seen some really creative prompts to kick off the meeting, but I would love to hear about any ice-breaker ideas that you have used to start a meeting!
