The Cultivating Caregiving series, a partnership between Reimagine and the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers (RCI), was born from a shared understanding of the balance needed between grief and growth in caregiving. Both organizations aim to explore how caregiving might lead to new perspectives, mindset shifts, or identity transformations through post-traumatic growth. Read on: https://lnkd.in/g2vKYhFE

Reimagine is a non-profit sparking community-driven festivals and experiences that explore death and celebrate life.
About us
Reimagine is a global nonprofit that supports all people in transforming adversity, loss, and death into opportunities for individual and collective growth. Our programs are based on the science of “Post-Traumatic Growth” (PTG), which posits that out of adversity, humans can flourish. As an organization, we value a shared creative compassion and nurture a positive community rooted in the principles of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI). Our focus areas include global virtual experiences, city-based hubs and art festivals, and group-based learning journeys that help all people face the hardest parts of life together. These efforts shift our approach to life, death, and one another. They result in increased personal strength, new life possibilities, improved relationships, heightened appreciation for life, and a deeper sense of purpose and community.

Join author and host Allison Gilbert and her special guests, Tasha Golden, PhD and Anna Quindlen, for a four-part series on the loneliness epidemic, one of the greatest public health crises of the 21st century. Long before COVID, people in the U.S. and across the world have struggled with loneliness, isolation, and lack of social connection. In 2023, Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy declared loneliness an epidemic and announced a strategy to help reverse this alarming trend. And months later, journalist Allison Gilbert reported for the New York Times about the appointment of world-renowned therapist Dr. Ruth Westheimer as New York State’s Ambassador to Loneliness, the first such position in the country. Reimagine and Allison are co-hosting a new series to learn about strategies to build deeper connections, particularly among the most vulnerable. RSVP here: https://lnkd.in/ggFRG4CE
