Last month, UnitedHealthcare Health Plan of Nevada Medicaid announced a $140,000 donation to Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada, providing local kids with much-needed after school and school break programs. As part of the donations, 50 younger kids will receive scholarships that cover the weekly cost of summer camp, and provide multiple fun activities including Fun Fridays, Summer Brain Gain activities, weekly field trips, dress-up days, themed music weeks and breakfast and lunch.
