From local childhood star, to jazz singer and third generation tap dancer, Chloe McFadden gave a sizzlin’ hot performance on Wednesday evening at the PNC Pop-Up in Helzberg Hall. Local Kansas City business members and guests joined Chloe on stage for a private event as part of the Ensemble business membership program. Ensemble is the Kauffman Center’s business membership program consisting of businesses in the KC metro area and is presented by PNC. With underwriting from Saint Luke's Health System, Grammy-nominated organist Jan Kraybill, took Kauffman Center patrons on an around-the-world musical adventure for a special pipe organ concert in Helzberg Hall this past Saturday. The free concert was a Mother’s Day gift from Saint Luke’s to the community to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Saint Luke’s Muriel I. Kauffman Women’s Heart Center. The sold-out crowd and hundreds of mothers were treated to the sounds and spectacle of the Julia Irene Kauffman Casavant Organ, Opus 3875, and music from the U.S., U.K., Canada, Africa and Europe.
