Exciting news for bus riders in Johnson County! This week, FTA Deputy Regional Administrator Bill Kalt joined Johnson County, KS Government and local officials to celebrate $7.6 million in FTA support to buy low-emission buses to replace the county’s aging diesel models. The 2024 Kansas City Corporate Challenge came to a close at the end of June and Team JoCo finished the season in ninth place for Division A companies. 🏆 😁 Approximately 300 staff members representing 22 different county departments participated in 28 events for Team JoCo. Across the Kansas City metro, participants from more than 160 companies competed in Olympic-style events. Participants earned individual points, team points and wellness points! Kudos to all our Team JoCo participants!
