Last week we celebrated the inauguration of Invenergy's Tealov Cardal transmission project in Uruguay, one of the world leaders in the transition to cleaner energy that now produces nearly 100% of its electricity from renewables. Today, we're excited to announce Invenergy’s Center of Excellence, a $30 million clean energy training and manufacturing facility located about 30 miles from our Chicago home office in Bolingbrook, IL. We are pleased to announce that Invenergy with Patria Investments has acquired a 600-megawatt wind energy portfolio in Brazil. In addition to an Invenergy ownership stake, Invenergy Services will provide wind turbine operations & maintenance services for the portfolio. This transaction, which makes Invenergy an owner of installed wind capacity in Brazil for the first time, will more than double Invenergy’s workforce in Brazil to nearly 130 employees, furthering our commitment to Brazil's growing energy market.
