International Aero Academy

Today my 17-year-old daughter became a licensed pilot.  In a unique circumstance, our flight academy has FAA self-examining authority and I am the Administrative Examiner that issues her the temporary license (One of our Check Instructors completed her checkride).  I told her that we must frame her temporary certificate, that she will not appreciate why today but she will 20 years from now as my name is listed as the issuing examiner.  I am incredibly proud of my daughter and will forever cherish the bond of flight that we now share. Now she has to pass her driver’s license test.

IAA is honored to announce our new pilot training partnership: Based in Delhi, India, Captain Surinder Singh and his company Albatross Aviations PVT LTD has entered into an agreement with International Aero Academy (“IAA”) for pilot training of Indian students. For the past 15 years Captain Singh has operated the most well known and longest established DGCA ground school in India. IAA is the first FTO that Captain Singh has selected for pilot training. Together with Captain Singh, IAA and IAA's office in Mumbai will provide students a complete 360 degree solution to include: DGCA ground school, visa assistance, commercial pilot training at IAA’s Lakeland Florida campus, DGCA license conversion and 737 or A320 type ratings. IAA trans over 100 Indian students per year and expects this number to grow significantly in 2024.

We are pleased to announce that we have opened our own International Aero Academy office in India. We will also be offering DGCA ground school and license conversion assistance for our Indian students. India is and will continue to be the largest foreign consumer of U.S based primary flight training for the foreseeable future and we are honored to be a part of training India's new generation of professional pilots.

As 2023 draws to a close, we need to acknowledge our incredible teams at International Aero Academy, International AeroTech Academy and International Aero Charters. International Aero Academy experienced a YOY 81% increase in flight training revenue, an 88% increase in flight hours and an 88% increase in instruction hours. We also successfully graduated our first flight instructors into the Spirit Airlines program, our former instructors are now flying A320's for Spirit Airlines. International AeroTech Academy launched its bespoke night program for Amazon Career Choice, affording Amazon employees the opportunity to become professional, licensed aircraft maintenance technicians. International Aero Charters Air Carrier Certificate was upgraded last April by the FAA to allow unlimited aircraft onto our certificate for charter operations and we were approved for in-house Check Airman. Last night was our inaugural A&P school class for Amazon Career Choice. In cooperation with Amazon we have instituted a custom evening program for Amazon team members to become FAA licensed aircraft maintenance technicians. We wish to thank Amazon for choosing International AeroTech Academy as a Career Choice partner. We will be holding 3 new night classes per year for Amazon.
