Penrose (Parney) C. Albright, Ph.D. announced that his planned retirement as President & CEO of HRL Laboratories, LLC, will be effective on July 5, 2024. He joined HRL in November 2014 as CEO and oversaw the organization through significant growth and expansion over nearly ten years. Roberto Vasquez, Ph.D. will assume the company’s President & CEO role shortly following Dr. Albright’s departure. The Board of Directors welcomes Dr. Vasquez to HRL and is confident he will continue to build on the company’s current successes in pioneering the next frontiers of physical and information science and engineering.
