Our People Director, Enid Lizamore, and our Managing Director, Jordi Borrut have launched Women Connect Sessions at HEINEKEN Beverages. We've already exceeded the 2025 target with 35% women in senior roles, but we know there's more to achieve. These sessions are pivotal for supporting all colleagues and improving gender balance in leadership. #WeAreHEINEKEN
At HEINEKEN, we are committed to our Brewing a Better World social ambitions, with a strong focus on inclusion and diversity. As part of our 2030 commitments, we have a target to increase women's representation in our senior management to 30% by 2025 and 40% by 2030, paving the way to greater gender balance. In line with this global ambition, our People Director, Enid Lizamore, and I have initiated a series of Women Connect Sessions at HEINEKEN Beverages. Though we have exceeded the global target for 2025 and have a 35% representation of women currently in senior roles, we also acknowledge that we still have room for improvement. These sessions will ensure we are better able to support all our colleagues and improve our gender balance across senior roles. Through these conversations, women from very different roles and functions share their experiences and insights directly with us, fostering an invaluable platform for open dialogue. Nkanyiso Zikhali, the 2023 Inter Hotel Challenge Wine Steward, recently returned from an exciting educational trip to Amsterdam with HEINEKEN Beverages and has relocated to Cape Town as a wine specialist at Ȅlgr in Kloof Street!
