According to Census data, Syracuse has one of the highest child poverty rates in the nation at 45.8%. Many families and children depend on school meals to ensure they're fed — but summer months present challenges. This summer, kids and teens 18 and under can get free meals at various locations throughout the city from Syracuse City School District. https://lnkd.in/eXr__h5w Help ensure your community's youth has healthy meals this summer by sharing the full summer meals schedule: https://lnkd.in/eGQAcy8e #Syracuse #SyracuseNY #CentralNewYork #CNY #SummerMeals

We're hiring! If you're mission-driven with a "roll up your sleeves"-style work ethic — with strong accounting, finance, treasury, investment, and revenue cycle skills — there’s opportunity to be a key contributor in improving health and empowering the underserved as our new Chief Financial Officer (CFO)! Make your imprint on our organization as we anticipate a period of rapid growth with the upcoming New York Health Equity Reform (NYHER) 1115 Waiver Amendment. We’re looking for someone who: 🔹 Has extensive non-profit experience; 🔹 Can collaboratively serve in both a strategic leadership and hands-on capacity; 🔹 Has strong knowledge of Medicaid, healthcare revenue cycle, and experience with Medicaid billing; 🔹 Has a proven track record of proficiency with financial planning and analysis functions; 🔹 And more. While our former CFO Michele Kelly is following other joys in her life, she's enthusiastic to support our new CFO during the transition. Interested in the role? Email kathryn.lewis@roberthalf.com for more information and to view the full job description. We hope you’ll consider joining us! #Hiring #ChiefFinancialOfficer #CFO #CFOSearch

We're all rooted in common ground, and Sunhee's Farm and Kitchen's 2nd Annual Gala put a spotlight on that last week. 💚 Performance Consultant, Chris, and Referral Navigator, April, had the pleasure of attending this event where they celebrated immigrant stories and the 7 years of successes and developments since the founding of Sunhee's Community Place, enjoyed some yummy food, made connections, and supported Sunhee's programs and initiatives. We're thankful for our partnership and the incredible impact Sunhee's Community Place has made on the lives of many. #SunheesCommunityPlace #2ndAnnualGala #RootedInCommonGround #ImmigrantStories #CommunityPartner #HealthyAlliance

Today is Juneteenth, the day freedom finally came in 1865 in Galveston, Texas for more than 250,000 enslaved Black people — which marked an effective end of slavery in the United States. Let Juneteenth remind us of our history. Commemorate the past to build a better future. Change is possible, and there is still so much work to do. Together, we can make a lasting difference. #Juneteenth #June19th

Thursday was a bittersweet day for the Healthy Alliance team; we celebrated our CAO/CFO, Michele Kelly, and Performance Manager, Karen Smith, at Frog Alley Brewing Co. to soak up the time we have left before their upcoming retirement/step back from full-time work. We're so sad to see these two amazing women go, but we couldn't be happier for them as they embark on a new chapter in life! There were some teary eyes, but there were even more smiles and laughter as we reminisced on our time together. Michele and Karen are our forever friends. 💗 Thank you both for all you've done over the years to cultivate the type of change that improves health and empowers the underserved. Cheers to you, Michele and Karen! #HealthyAlliance #TeamCelebration #Retirement #ThankYou

What’s a data analyst’s favorite genre of music? Algorithm and blues! 🥁 We opened with some data dad jokes before revealing the 2024 Q2 recipient of our Quarterly Employee Recognition Award at yesterday’s all-staff meeting. The dad jokes were especially fitting as it was a proud parent-type of moment celebrating this data team OG’s incredible growth and achievements over the years. With this person’s enthusiasm to take on new tasks and challenges and absorb all there is to know about data also comes a data team mascot, who we couldn’t leave out of Sam Morley’s celebration! 🐈 We brought along a lookalike of Sam’s cat Henry, who makes regular appearances in team meetings, so he could be at staff meeting in spirit to recognize Sam! Congratulations, Sam! We’re lucky to have you as part of the team! 🥳 #EmployeeRecognition #EmployeeAppreciation #HealthyAlliance #Team
