Haynes Hero Spotlight We’re excited to introduce our June Haynes Hero, Angel McClarney! With over 11 years at Haynes Mechanical Systems, Angel shines as our CARE Supervisor, demonstrating exceptional dedication and passion. Angel's journey at Haynes Mechanical Systems began over a decade ago. Reflecting on her role, she shares, "The combination of working in the field with Haynes customers and with all the different associates and departments at Haynes is a great mix and balance. I’m a chatty/talkative person by nature, so this role has been perfect for me." One aspect that makes Haynes Mechanical unique is our CARE department, where Angel plays a pivotal role. "Our department adds a personal touch to gathering feedback, making interactions genuine and memorable. Customers often share that their interactions with other vendors are limited to sales pitches or when they need assistance, but we offer something different," Angel explains. Staying motivated in her role comes naturally to Angel. "Haynes has an amazing customer base and wonderful associates. It’s easy to stay motivated when you work with great people," she says with a smile. Outside of work, Angel has a passion for hiking. What started as a way to enjoy the outdoors during COVID has turned into a significant part of her life. In 2020, she completed 12 hikes, which increased to 20 in 2021, 35 in 2022, 52 in 2023, and she's on pace to complete 75 hikes this year! When she's not exploring the trails, Angel enjoys traveling, spending time with her sweet cat Oliver, her family, and friends, and scrolling through TikTok. Angel credits Terry Koenig as a fantastic mentor and CARE ally. "Terry has been engaged, supportive, and my CARE ally for the last 11+ years," she shares appreciatively. When asked for advice for newcomers at Haynes, Angel's enthusiasm shines through: "Jump in, get to know people, participate in events. Haynes is a wonderful place to be – enjoy it!"
