Here is Sean, a technician who started with us in August, building a Detailed Inspection Plan (DIP) from scratch as part of our Metrology 101 course. He'll never have to do that as part of his daily workflow (our DIPs are generated by automation and reviewed by engineers) but we want technicians to understand "why" they do things as much as the "how". One objective of Workforce Development is to ensure we don't sacrifice individual mastery on the altar of digital productivity. In this case, Sean is expected to be able to spot errors in the DIP. Congrats Michael Stopper on 6 technicians certified since he took over training.. and 7 more in the pipeline. Just getting started.
