Last week, we celebrated the one-year anniversary of our Maryland lodge. In honor of the milestone, we welcomed back celebrity chef Duff Goldman, who designed a massive birthday cake and invited guests to participate in a “cake smash” to mark the occasion. Goldman created the original grand opening cake for our Perryville, MD lodge, and also designed limited-edition cupcakes based on our Great Wolf Pack animated characters. We’re honored to have him and his family return to celebrate the success of our Maryland lodge’s first year of operation: Congrats to all the Pack Members who made it happen!

Great Wolf Lodge is grateful for all of our Pack Members who are military Veterans. On July 25th, National Hire A Veteran Day, we’re hosting a series of hiring events specifically for these heroes.   If you, a family member, or a friend are a Veteran or current Military Member, you’re welcome to come to the hiring event at your local lodge. Happy one-year anniversary to our Perryville, MD lodge! “Our first year has been an amazing adventure,” says Nadine Miracle, General Manager of the lodge. “Our Pack Members have made an incredible impact by bringing joy to families every day.” Howls of thanks go out to all of the talented and hard-working employees who made it happen.

Yesterday, our lodge in Grand Mound, Washington celebrated the official completion of its $40 million renovation project. With 407 fully refurbished guest suites, delicious new dining options, and all-new experiences and attractions to entertain and delight, our Pack Members are excited to introduce guests to the new Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound.

Great Wolf Lodge South Florida is hiring! We will be hosting hiring events daily from July 31st to August 13th leading up to the grand opening of our new lodge in Naples, FL. At these events, you can interview for open positions, receive on-the-spot job offers, and even have a chance to begin immediately. Happy 4th of July from our family to yours!

Great Wolf Lodge takes pride in always putting safety first. Throughout National Safety Month in June, our lodges took the opportunity to highlight that pledge. “Over the course of the month, we focused on Pack wellness, safety education, and creative ways to make safety engaging for everyone,” says Melissa Wornick, Great Wolf’s Corporate Risk Manager. “These annual events help uphold our commitment to keeping our Pack Members and our guests safe.” From employee trivia nights to health and wellness outreach, we’re always looking for new ways to promote safety at our lodges.

To celebrate the September opening of our new South Florida lodge in Naples, we took over the Strawberry Moon restaurant and swim club in Miami Beach yesterday for an all-ages family pool party. With a live DJ, choreographed Great Wolf dances, a meet and greet with Wiley Wolf, and a giant chocolate fountain, the fun never stopped! Featuring an appearance from celebrity mom and actress Beverly Mitchell, our party was a resounding success. We can’t wait for everyone to experience our 22nd lodge.

We’re proud to share our latest recognition as the ideal vacation destination for families. The Wall Street Journal says Great Wolf Lodge is “at the forefront” of family-friendly getaways within driving distance. They tout our affordable prices, popular indoor water parks, and emphasis on entertainment for guests of all ages. As we grow our business and open new lodges, we’ll continue to keep the focus on our mission: Bringing joy to families.
