  • GENIE/ SOUNDCLOUD LAUNCH EVENT Panel Discussion: "What are we working towards? A discussion on gender equity in today's music industry." This panel discussion will bring together three representatives from German projects, networks, and initiatives to explore the current state of gender equity in the music industry.   • ✨FEATURE FRIDAY✨ Tracks By is a producer academy for women, trans people and non-binary people - presented by DPA, Edition Wilhelm Hansen and the Danish Songwriting Academy. Here you can develop as a track producer both technically and creatively, when established producers invite you into their workshop, and go in-depth with their and your productions. At Tracks By you will be prepared for a career in the music industry with knowledge, tools and a unique network of other producers.

  • FEATURE FRIDAY 😎 Future Female Sounds is a non-profit organization, community, and booking agency based in Copenhagen, Denmark. They work to make DJ culture accessible to girls, women, and gender minorities globally. FFS run DJ Programmes for future talent in several countries, facilitating events, seminars, digital content and network meetings that focus on incubating new talent, and strengthening existing talent, while making space for female and gender minority DJs in the music industry. FFS work to create opportunities for local communities and DJs by partnering and collaborating with brands and organizations and act as a booking agency - representing a wide range of DJs and collaborate with festivals, venues, institutions, and brands creating more visibility for female and gender minority DJs.

  • Tracks By has announced their next producer course for women, trans and non binary producers based in Denmark. GENIE will be supporting the project and Grace will be heading over to Copenhagen in September to meet the participants and support them with creating networks using GENIE

We want to highlight all of the amazing projects on GENIE starting with BLVSH Berlin Blvsh Berlin was created for the exposure, peer support, and promotion of new FLINTGA* talents. The Berlin-based DJ collective is committed in contributing to a much needed increase in the visibility of women, trans and non-binary folks and their blossoming in a still male-dominated clubbing scene. As a DJ/producer collective, the BLVSH crew is available for DJ gigs, live performances and panel discussions.
