What a dream come true. Star studded week thanks to the invitation by The Earthshot Prize and Bloomberg Philanthropies to Full Harvest to come to London as an Earthshot Prize nominee. Super grateful to Prince William and Mike Bloomberg for their extraordinary climate leadership that is desperately needed. Disrupting industries for the better is extremely hard, but weeks like this remind me why we do what we do and that we’re not alone, so thank you 🙏🏻✨

Wrapped up London Climate Action Week with a final, super rewarding event! 🤩 The Earthshot Prize and Bloomberg Philanthropies hosted the Earthshot Prize Innovation Camp, where Andro and I from the Mastercard Community Pass team got to work with innovators in the #AgriTech space, as Agriculture Industry Experts 🌾 While the photos (minus the one of me and Andro) here are of the big names leading these organisations - like HRH Prince of Wales, Mike Bloomberg, Hannah Waddingham, Hannah Jones and 'Tokunboh Ishmael, CFA - this post is about the incredible entrepreneurs that struggle every day to realise a vision for a more sustainable #foodsystem. We all stand to benefit from their toil, and we owe them, at minimum, our gratitude. Here's more about a few of these Earthshot Portfolio innovators: 👉 Clementine Chambon is building solar irrigation systems for Indian farmers to save them money and reduce carbon emissions from legacy diesel-based pumps at Oorja Development Solutions Limited 👉 Esther Wanjiru, CEO FarmerLifeline is developing AI-enabled cameras to help farmers spot and mitigate crop diseases and pests early 👉 Samuel Rigu is creating distributed fertiliser production capabilities that allow farmers to get away from expensive, carbon-intensive, imported inputs at Safi Organics Ltd. 👉 Nidhi Pant is empowering women to expand their role in the agriculture value chain through solar powered dehydration tools at S4S Technologies 👉 Christine Moseley of Full Harvest is cutting emissions by cutting food waste at the source - farms - via a B2B food procurement platform Let's give them a round of applause (and also investment, grants, technical expertise, mentorship, introductions, etc) 👏 #lcaw #agriculture #food #climate #climatetech #entrepreneurship

There's so much to celebrate at Full Harvest! Over the past 18 months, we’ve nearly quadrupled our impact, selling over 150 million pounds of produce—most of which would have otherwise gone to waste. We’re also proud to mark 8 years in business and continue to launch more industry-first, cutting-edge technologies. We owe our success to our incredible team, our supportive friends and family, and our dedicated investors who have been with us every step of the way. It was so fun to celebrate the Full Harvest team last week for many milestones (Almost 4x’ing in the past 18 mths, selling 150M+ lbs of produce - most of which would have gone to waste, 8 years in business, launching more industry first-of-its-kind technology capabilities, etc. etc).
