A huge thank you to our wonderful friend and author, Windy Pham, for visiting the FKO Welch program yesterday! Windy read her bilingual book, 'Taste the Rainbow', which explores fruits and vegetables in both Vietnamese and English. After the reading, children enjoyed tasting some of the fruits and vegetables from the book and engaging in interactive games which reinforced what they learned. 🎉 Thank you, Windy, for making the day so special and educational! 🙌📚✨

FKO's 'Summer of the Great Outdoors' has officially kicked off in all communities! 🎉 Yesterday each child received their very own summer safety kit which included a backpack, t-shirts, water bottle, rash guard, and sunglasses! 😎 Once again we extend a huge thank you to our incredible funders and partners for making this possible. What a sweet evening at FKO's Center School program in Peabody! The Lemonade Stand Family Night was a huge success! 🍋✨🌟 Children worked in groups to create their own unique lemonade recipes, squeezing fresh lemons and adding special touches. They also designed eye-catching posters to promote their stands, showcasing their creativity and teamwork! A special thank you to all the FKO Center School families for coming out and supporting these young entrepreneurs. Yesterday, children who attend the FKO Winthrop program at 233 Winthrop Street had an exciting and safe journey with a "walking school bus" from the Gorman Fort Banks School to FKO! With the fantastic support of the Winthrop Police Department, FKO staff ensured everyone arrived safely.
