  • 💰 Lower Your Recruitment Costs! We wrote a blog post in 2023 about the criticality of building relationships not databases. Check it out here 👉 https://lnkd.in/eCgGE4a3 To develop a "candidate pipeline" just having a list of contacts is not going to work in this market. Build relationships with candidates - their wants, needs, who they are as a person - this takes intention to develop, but pays off for all parties and reduces costs in the end. The info is ever relevant today as costs become more of an issue.

  • National Forgiveness Day 🤝 In the world of recruitment, we know that everyone has a past – even star candidates. That's why this #NationalForgivenessDay, we want to remind employers to keep an open mind and focus on a person's potential, not just their resume. • The benefits of working with women and/or minority owned firms has been well documented. 💪🏼 And more and more companies and government entities are focused on diversifying their supply chain. But access to capital continues to be a challenge. 💰 Our CEO speaks frequently with other MWBE firms on this topic, and advocates for better access in a variety of forums. Reach out to her directly if you'd like to chat about this. https://exp-staffing.com/

  • We've expanded in both the skill sets we recruit for, and the geographies we serve. 🌎 But we're all New Yorkers at heart. We watch local trends closely, digging through the noise. 📈 Just the stats: As of March 2024, NYC had record high total employment, private sector employment, and labor force participation. The NYC metro area added 118,700 jobs over the past year, leading all U.S. metro areas in job growth. Office visitation in NYC is up 4 percentage points year-over-year to 66%, with premium buildings at 71% occupancy.

  • Ah, turnover. We track it, consistently work to improve it, and engage with customers on this topic frequently. 📈 WE often find leaders aren't quite as passionate about it as we are. And many times its because there isn't clarity on the true costs. 💰 Harvard Business Review just highlighted this key business metric. They note: Perhaps the single most important piece of information that most leaders lack is what turnover actually costs. When we’ve tested groups of CEOs about this, we’ve found that they have no idea. ... many cite the cost as $4,000 an employee, which is simply an estimate of the marginal administrative costs of hiring a new person.. If leaders realized that the true cost of turnover is often a multiple of an employee’s annual salary, knew what the value of the firm’s best employees was relative to that of average employees, and understood that 29% of people who have just been promoted quit they would immediately demand changes. We agree! 👉 https://lnkd.in/eT83mBPm
