Congratulations to the ANCOR DSP of the Year for the state of Oregon, Emily Goldstein! Emily loves to be in nature. She's also determined, humble and an inspiration to many. "To those I support, you make the world a better place," shared Emily. "These individuals teach me something new about myself every day. And, without the support of my team, I would likely not be in the position to give such thorough support to the people we serve. As honored as I am to receive this award, I truly think it belongs to all of us. It really does take a village!" Thank you for all you do, Emily! We are so proud to have team members like you representing Dungarvin. #dungarvin #dungarvinway #dungarvincareers #oregon

Congratulations to Brianna Clark on her nomination as ANCOR DSP of the Year for the state of Oregon! "Brianna is a wonderful person who makes those around her feel supported, cared for, and welcomed," said her supervisor, Jennie Glenn. "Through her positive outlook and demeanor, she encourages those around her to match her energy." The home that Brianna works within has a medical focus when providing needed supports. One individual in particular utilizes a communication tablet to speak. He had struggled for years to use it as intended….that is until Brianna began supporting him! Additionally, Brianna makes a huge effort to get those served involved with others outside of the home. These efforts include FaceTime calls with loved ones, lunch dates, outings to play bingo with community members, as well as spending holidays with their families. In short, she always goes the extra mile. Thank you for all you do, Brianna! #dungarvin #dungarvinway #dungarvincareers #oregon #RecognizingDSPs

Extra, extra...read all about it! Recently, Dungarvin's very own ANCOR Direct Support Professional (DSP) of the Year, Doug Simmonsen from Nevada, was a co-author on an important piece about the importance of the #Olmstead decision guaranteeing people's rights for inclusion in society rather than segregation from it. Please take a moment to read. Thank you for sharing your experience, Doug! #dungarvin #dungarvinway #dungarvincareers
