Customers Bank teamed up with United Way of Berks County to fight hunger and feed children and families in our local community. This year’s Big Cheese event was full of community spirit, with 500 volunteers packaging 250,000 nutritionally-fortified cheesy rice and apple cinnamon oatmeal meals to deliver to students in need. It was a “grate” display of teamwork and our bank is proud to help make “gouda” things happen right here in Berks County!

We had a fantastic time at the Reading Tree with the Reading Fightin Phils! Andrew Herbein, VP of Commercial Lending, and Angie Lattanzio, VP/Sales Office Manager, shared their love of reading with young fans during a recent game. We’re excited to continue promoting childhood literacy all summer long with United Way of Berks County as part of the Ready.Set.Read! program.

We are thrilled to welcome Alan Roth as our new EVP, Managing Group Director at Customers Bank. Alan joins us with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service, a principle that was paramount in his decision to join our team. He is passionate about helping children in need, evidenced by his two-decade involvement with the Encourage Kid's Foundation, where his career success enables him to make significant contributions. Alan finds immense satisfaction in both his personal and professional life. He takes great pride in watching his children flourish and in seeing his team members grow. What excites him most in his career is winning new clients after dedicated effort, while personally, he loves playing with his grandchildren. Alan enjoys reading and playing golf in his free time, and recommends visiting the main New York Public Library, Central Park, the High Line, and various museums to anyone visiting the city.
