The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is launching a new campaign called "Let's Go There" to bring IBD into the open and reduce stigma. Meet Gary, who is bravely speaking up on living with Crohn’s disease, tackling uncomfortable and often taboo issues like fistulas, osteopenia, and the frequent bathroom trips that come with IBD. Watch his story and join us in breaking the silence. Let’s go there together, to talk openly about IBD and our hope for a future without it. There is nowhere we won’t go to support the IBD community and accelerate impact. #LetsGoThere #CrohnsColitisFoundation

This week, the Foundation met with our partners at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) to discuss our one-year progress on our CDC-funded grant. The Foundation is collaborating with UAB to identify and address barriers to the diagnosis and care of IBD patients, emphasizing the experience of the African American community in the Birmingham area. We are excited about the potential impact this project will have on improving healthcare access and outcomes for underserved IBD patients.
