We value our partnerships with our area CTE and CTA programs so much, and love when we get to celebrate the hard work our students put in! Last week we had the honor of attending the Career Tech Academy's Completion Ceremony at the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center to celebrate some of our very own! A big congratulations to all of the students, we are excited for you and what the future holds, and an even bigger congratulations to: 🎓Tristan Anderson, who is a senior at Halifax County High School and completed his Work-Based Learning Internship here at Comfort Systems, and will be joining us full time after graduation. 🎓Camren Jefferson, who is a senior at Mecklenburg County High School and completed his Work-Based Learning Internship here at Comfort Systems, and also joining us full time after graduation. 🎓Hunter Fallen, a junior at Halifax County High School, who completed the Welding program through CTA, and is coming on board with CSUSA MidAtlantic as an intern this summer, with plans to continue working with us through the Work-Based Learning Program when school starts.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we know how important it is to bring awareness to mental health and the challenges surrounding it. Knowing when to turn to friends, family, coworkers, and professionals when you’re struggling with life’s challenges can help improve your mental health; and while society is getting more comfortable discussing mental health, it can still be hard to know where to go. There are some great resources out there for anyone facing a mental health crisis, but the most important thing to remember is you are not alone and help is available! #MentalHealthMonth #WhereToStart #mham2024 Need help today? Check out some of these resources below. https://mhanational.org/ https://www.nami.org/ https://988lifeline.org/ https://www.samhsa.gov/
