Our Employee Resource Group, the Diversity Alliance, was pleased to host Claudia Volpe, Director and Curator for the Petrucci Family Foundation , in our offices recently for an event on the impact of Black art in American history. In addition to discussing the Foundation’s mission, Claudia showed us some pieces from the collection and shared stories about the artists behind the work. The Diversity Alliance also organized a guided tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s exhibit, “The Harlem Renaissance and Transatlantic Modernism,” for 40 employees where they learned about Black artists who were involved in Harlem Renaissance and the comprehensive ways that they portrayed everyday modern life. Thank you to the Petrucci Family Foundation and The Metropolitan Museum of Art for these opportunities to learn more about Black artists.

Our #capitalmarketassumptions for the next 10 years reflect that the past two years have ushered in a generational change for markets characterized by higher yields, increased economic volatility and risks of inflationary surprises. As a result, diversifying beyond stocks and bonds with real assets is likely to become increasingly important in creating more efficient portfolios.
