Despite juggling a full-time career as an emergency medicine physician and researcher at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and being a mom of three girls, Dr. Jeanine Hall, couldn’t say “no” when her daughters’ elementary school asked her to co-chair its community service program. “Community service was my happy place,” she says, reflecting on her experiences, from being a weekend volunteer at a Salvation Army kitchen to serving on international medical missions during medical school. “I’ve always loved to volunteer and help my community. So, I was happy to make time to get back into it as a mom.”

Congrats to all our new RN Resident graduates! 🎓
Executive Director & Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Professional Practice, Innovation, & Outcomes at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
It was a special day at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) today as we celebrated the graduation of our July 2023 cohort of #RNresidents! This fantastic group of #pediatric #nurses has spent the last year developing clinical skills and learning how to care for the complex patients and families we are privileged to serve at #CHLA. We’re so proud of all that they’ve accomplished, including completion of professional posters showcasing their #evidencebasedpractice projects. They are already making a big impact on our organization, and we’re so excited to see how they continue to grow their careers! So grateful for our #TransitionToPractice team for their leadership of the #RNresidency program, and to our #nursing #leaders and #NPD specialists who support and develop our newest nurses.❤️
