A community survey by The Peter & Elizabeth Tower Foundation found that an overwhelming 95% of nonprofits considered #CapacityBuilding work critically important, but faced limitations in funding and resources. With this in mind, The Tower Foundation partnered with Catchafire and our #SkillsBasedVolunteering platform to increase access to capacity building, extend the reach of their grant dollars, and diversify their support to nonprofits. Since the start of our partnership, we have seen: ⭐️ 9,000+ #volunteer hours donated 🙌 $2M+ in nonprofit value created Read more about this collaboration and discover how your #foundation can leverage the power of skills-based volunteering to build capacity for your nonprofit partners. https://lnkd.in/e5TNFb6v

When VOICE Buffalo needed a hand revamping their performance review process, they turned to Catchafire's #SkillsBasedVolunteering platform for #ProBono HR support. 🧑💻 #Volunteer Alison Henry generously donated her time and expertise to help VOICE Buffalo develop a lightweight and reusable performance review process that will help strengthen their team through honest and supportive feedback. Now, the nonprofit can refocus on it's mission work: to bring forth #RacialJustice and #equity in Western New York through political education and organized collective action. Alright! I have been receiving a lot of congratulatory messages on my 5 year anniversary on Catchafire, and I wanted to share my impact with you all. So far, I've successfully worked with seven (7) different NGOs and have collaborated with a team of wonderful people, including founders, CEOs, managers, and executives like Cynthia Cherise Murphy, BIENVENUE KONSIMBO, Todd Hermon, CFRE, to name a few. It has been a great experience and a small way of giving back to the community. Thank you all for taking the time to send in your messages and wishes. I appreciate it! Have you considered trying Catchafire to help NGOs with projects and support their missions? Let me know your thoughts in the comments section! Do have a great week!✌️
