  • A dynamic synergy unfolded at the recent FAU-FSMS meeting, where nearly 100 students and professionals gathered to connect and explore the world of surveying. This impressive turnout marked a potential annual tradition, with CPC actively involved in fostering the next generation of surveyors. CPC Senior Project Surveyors, Natasa Ilic, PSM, and Landon "Alfie" Cross, PSM, were instrumental in making this event a success. Their insightful talks on the Board of Professional Surveyor & Mapping and Surveyor in Training (SIT) processes provided valuable information and sparked the interest of many aspiring surveyors.   We didn't just attend the event – we were proud sponsors! CPC understands the importance of investing in the future of our field, and this collaboration with FAU and FSMS perfectly exemplifies that commitment.   Kristian R Jameson, CPC’s Survey Technician and FAU graduate, reconnected with old friends and ignited the student spirit. It was a heartwarming reminder of the strong community we share within the surveying profession.   But this event was about more than just numbers. It was about connections, inspiration, and a shared passion for the intricate world of surveying. As the lively conversations continued, one thing became crystal clear: the future of surveying is bright, and it's being meticulously shaped right here, at FAU, with every insightful conversation, supportive gesture, and spark of curiosity ignited.   CPC is proud to be a part of this vibrant future, and we're passionate about supporting the next generation of surveyors.   Join us in building a brighter future for surveying!   #Surveying #FAU #FSMS #FutureSurveyors #Collaboration #BuildingTheFuture

  • Exciting news from our team at CPC! Recently, Mohan Gopalakrishna,M.E.,P.E.,PTOE, Consultant Project Manager, and Daniel P Burns, Senior Roadway Engineer, along with our sub-consultant Sheryl Dickey (Dickey Consulting), had the privilege of hosting the Hills Subdivision Shared-Use Path Improvements Public Information Meeting on January 11th at the City Hall of Coral Springs, Florida, for the Shared-Use Path Design Improvements along Coral Hills Drive from Sample Road to Wiles Road (1.1 miles). The improvements include a 6’-10’ concrete shared-use path, ADA improvements, and neighborhood traffic calming improvements at three intersections to reduce speeding, enhance safety, and provide a pedestrian-friendly complete streets environment for the residents.   The public was allowed to provide feedback regarding the proposed concrete shared-use path that will provide continuous connectivity for pedestrians and bicyclists along this residential neighborhood. As a part of this project construction impacts will be minimized and the existing shade trees will be preserved. The project is supported by the City and the public. We are committed to fostering open communication and collaboration for successful projects that benefit everyone. A big thank you to all who attended and contributed to the vibrant discussions. Your input is invaluable, and we look forward to continued partnership in enhancing the infrastructure of the City of Coral Springs.   #CoralSprings #Transportation #TrafficManagement #CommunityEngagement #Infrastructure #CPCProjects 🚗🛣️🏙️ #ProfessionalEngineers #LicensedEngineers #civilengineers
