Yesterday, Business Development Manager Henry Martin joined more than 1,500 industry peers in Washington D.C. for the annual Spaceball game featuring the Washington Nationals and Arizona Diamondbacks. Spaceball is the most casual (and most fun) annual space community meetup. Every summer, DC space wonks dip out of work early for an afternoon of networking at the ballpark. On June 23, we celebrate International Women in Engineering Day, an annual event highlighting the achievements of women engineers worldwide. Since 1982, women have earned almost 10 million more college degrees than men, but a 2018 survey revealed that only 15% of engineers are women.
