From negotiation and contract drafting to compliance and risk management, our Contracts Team helps Blue Canyon enable space missions to expand the frontiers of science and defense. As Contracts people who deal with laws, regulations and serious words, you might not know that they are also not-so-secret space and science fans who love seeing the company’s contributions to the future of space exploration and climate change tracking. When asked what their favorite part about working at Blue Canyon is, they said “We have amazing people who work here. We care about the work we do, the customer, the mission and our fellow colleagues across all departments. Much of the work the Contracts Team does is cross-functional, so we get a front-row seat to seeing how good everyone is at working with one another. It’s one of the best parts of our job and it’s not something you see everywhere – Blue Canyon is special!” #smallsats #teamwork #space #aerospace #spacetechnology #contracts

Hey batter, batter! Yesterday, Business Development Manager Henry Martin joined more than 1,500 industry peers in Washington D.C. for the annual Spaceball game featuring the Washington Nationals and Arizona Diamondbacks. Spaceball is the most casual (and most fun) annual space community meetup. Every summer, DC space wonks dip out of work early for an afternoon of networking at the ballpark. The event was founded 10 years ago by Chirag Parikh, long before his days as executive secretary of the National Space Council. #aerospace #Spaceball24 #spaceindustry #networking #baseball

On June 23, we celebrate International Women in Engineering Day, an annual event highlighting the achievements of women engineers worldwide. Since 1982, women have earned almost 10 million more college degrees than men, but a 2018 survey revealed that only 15% of engineers are women. Blue Canyon Technologies is committed to celebrating, inspiring and supporting women in the field of engineering. Together, we hope to empower and lift up women in engineering for a brighter and more inclusive future. #enhancedbyengineering #INWED2024 #aerospace
