About us
Right now, Arkansas’s workforce is facing a challenge. Over 23% of the current skilled professionals are at or near retirement age. But our state’s workforce isn’t prepared to fill the positions our retiring workers are creating. Now is the time to act. By changing how Arkansans think about the job opportunities provided by skilled professions, we can inspire today’s youth and lead them, and our state, down the path to prosperity.

We commend Walmart on their public announcement to launch a training program for hourly workers in its U.S. stores and supply networks providing them an opportunity to move into skilled roles in facilities maintenance, #refrigeration, #heating, #ventilation and #airconditioning, and #automation. The company has committed to boosting this workforce from 450 to roughly 2,000 in the next two years. https://lnkd.in/gZfeWXsw

We are incredibly grateful to partner with Lockheed Martin. Thank you for supporting our mission of bringing a new generation of pride, progress and professionals to America’s skilled workforce! We commend you on your hires! Aaron Huckaby Andrew Parker
Lockheed Martin - Camden Operations was proud to present 27 employment certificates to high school graduates from several local districts at recent award ceremonies. As a result of our onsite recruiting event in February, these graduates were hired to fill open assembler, expediter, and machinist positions, to which they’ll seamlessly transition via the Camden Manufacturing Apprenticeship Program (CMAP). Lockheed Martin is committed to developing the next generation of Arkansas’ skilled workforce. Seeing this vision become reality through the combined efforts of onsite recruiting, sponsorships with organizations like Be Pro Be Proud, and CMAP has been truly rewarding. To our 27 new hires, welcome to the team! Thank you in advance for helping our customers stay #AheadofReady.
