"My wife's stay at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Baltimore Washington was truly life-changing... It was instrumental in her recovery after her stroke. Coming from an advanced rehab setting we were worried her strength would not continue. She had limited mobility and faced significant challenges in performing daily activities. From the moment we arrived, the team at Baltimore Washington made us feel welcome and cared for. The therapists were incredibly knowledgeable and tailored a rehabilitation program specifically for her needs. The facility went above and beyond, providing all the necessary equipment for her recovery. Through their intensive physical therapy sessions, she regained strength in her legs and was able to walk short distances. Occupational therapy helped her relearn essential skills, and speech therapy significantly improved her communication abilities. What set Autumn Lake Healthcare at Baltimore Washington apart was the genuine care and encouragement from the staff. They celebrated every small victory with us and spoiled us with many activities, treats, and things to do, making the tough days more manageable. Everyone is so kind! ❓What made me want to enter the Skilled Nursing field? 🙋♀️: I have 15 years of Skilled Nursing experience and 10 years of Hospital Leadership roles. I love working in a Nursing Facility because the residents and team become like family. Those positive relationships make coming to work a joy! ❓One fun fact about myself? 🙋♀️: I love karaoke!
