"Securing umbrella limits of $10 million and above may be more challenging than before and may require more than one carrier to provide the desired limits,” said William S. Hughes, CPCU, Vice President of Commercial Lines at Arbella Insurance Group, in a recent interview with The Rough Notes Company, Inc. on construction insurance trends. “This can be achieved by having reinsurers and other carriers participate in layered programs, but it’s a challenge to ensure that terms and conditions are consistent among the different participants.” According to Hughes, carriers are being more "judicious" in providing umbrella and excess liability limits in light of mounting jury awards. It was a day well spent with the Boston Centers for Youth and Families (BCYF) and New England Revolution. The Revs hosted a soccer clinic which was attended by 65 BCYF children aged 7-14. Also in attendance were Revs players Tiago Suarez and Mark-Anthony Kaye! At the clinic, the Revs gave away tickets for their "C.H.A.N.G.E. Night" match on July 20th. Arbella is a proud sponsor of this match, which will benefit the BCYF. Each child in attendance also went home with an Arbella x Revs soccer bag!

The Arbella Insurance Foundation recently collaborated with the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center to address the growing need for primary care services among rising immigrant populations and unhoused individuals. The Foundation's contribution supported the launch of the new GLFHC mobile health clinic, which is equipped with advanced technology and a fully staffed group of technicians. Arbella was proud to be a sponsor of Jimmy Fund Day, where participants were able to practice like the pros at Fenway Park, taking pitches at bat and even getting special access to the locker room and dugout. Some Arbella employees were lucky enough to attend the event, and all proceeds benefitted The Jimmy Fund.

We are pleased to announce that Greater Lawrence Family Health Center has launched their second mobile health unit in Massachusetts! This week’s ribbon cutting featured wonderful messages from Arbella’s CEO, John Donohue, Dr. Guy Fish and Dr. Ryan Dono of GLFHC, and State Senator Pavel Payano regarding how this new van will meet the ongoing need to treat unhoused and transient individuals and families who are prevented from going to brick-and-mortar health centers around Lawrence, Haverhill, Methuen, and Andover. The mobile clinic hosts two clinical rooms, a wheelchair lift, restroom, and will have three clinicians working at a time. With this new mobile health clinic, the team will be able to triple their patient care from years past. The Arbella Insurance Foundation is proud to partner with Greater Lawrence Family Health Center on this initiative to bring medicine on the road in Massachusetts.
