Meet Tommi Matti Sakari Soiniemi, Manager at Amazon Business in Germany: Hey there! 👋 I'm Tommi, and I'm excited to share a bit about myself. One of my greatest passions is following my beloved Stuttgart football team. I've been a devoted fan since childhood, and you can usually find me glued to the TV or cheering in the stands during their matches. It's a huge source of joy and community for me. My cat Kobun is also a big Stuttgart supporter, and we love watching the games together. Speaking of pets, I have two awesome cats - Kobun and Oyabun. While Kobun shares my football fanaticism, Oyabun prefers to keep me company in the kitchen. That's where I get to enjoy the delicious home-cooked Japanese meals my wife prepares. She's the real culinary expert in the family. In addition to my local sports allegiances, I love traveling and experiencing new cultures around the world. Whether I'm exploring historic European cities, wandering the vibrant neighborhoods of Tokyo, or going on camping adventures in the great outdoors, I'm always eager to broaden my horizons and discover new perspectives. On the professional front, I've had the privilege of being part of the Amazon team for the past 2.5 years. In my role overseeing a team of Account Managers, I get to play a direct role in supporting our sellers and fueling the growth of their businesses. But it's not just about helping our sellers succeed - it's about advancing Amazon Business's overall mission to provide customers with the best possible shopping experience through greater selection, availability, and value. I collaborate with my team to develop tailored strategies for expanding product lines, reaching new customer segments, and optimizing operations. And the best part is seeing the tangible results - our sellers experience expanded visibility, increased revenue, and overall business growth, while Amazon's customers benefit from a constantly improving purchasing experience. What I love most is being part of that journey, working in a tight-knit team environment where we constantly learn from each other, and finding new ways to deliver value to both our sellers and customers. It's the kind of work that keeps me inspired and excited to come to the office every day. Interested in joining our team in Munich? We're actively recruiting for an Account Manager with excellent communication skills in both English and German: http://spr.ly/6049iTRbV

Collaboration and Innovation at the Amazon Business EU Team Offsite The Amazon Business EU team recently gathered in Spain for an impactful two-day offsite event. Account Managers representing markets across Europe convened in Madrid and Barcelona to strengthen teamwork, share best practices, and explore new ways to better support our selling partners. Through interactive team-building activities and strategic discussions, the group forged deeper connections and had the chance to learn more about each other's local market dynamics and identify opportunities to collaborate more effectively. A key priority was uncovering emerging needs and trends impacting Amazon Business Customers in different European countries. By tapping into the diverse perspectives in the room, the team generated innovative ideas for products, services, and programs that could elevate the experience for our Selling Partners and ultimately our customers. The offsite also provided a platform to share updates on ongoing projects and initiatives. This knowledge-sharing will help the team to apply successful approaches from one region to drive progress in other parts of Europe. The Amazon Business EU team is feeling energized and aligned with the mission. This offsite underscored the power of periodic in-person gatherings to strengthen teamwork, foster collaboration, and unlock new pathways for growth. #AmazonBusiness #TeamBuilding #Innovation
