About us
Cells are the basic unit of life. They power everything we do, and unlocking their secrets is the key to advancing our knowledge of every facet of biology, from development to disease. Our single cell, spatial, and in situ tools enable researchers to answer pressing questions about cells and their functional contributions to oncology, immunology, neuroscience, and much more—as evidenced by more than 5,500 publications citing our technology. We are dedicated to building the best products, delivering the best customer experience, and creating the best team to fuel new scientific discovery, no matter how challenging. And we won’t stop until all of the cells’ secrets are revealed.

Understanding skin development is crucial, as embryonic programs may underlie wound healing throughout life. Work from Drs. Ohsang Kwon and Jong-il Kim at Seoul National University took advantage of Xenium In Situ to identify specific cell trajectories, spatially validate driver genes & provide a spatial atlas for skin development. We’d like to congratulate the first author, Dr. Hanjae Lee & everyone involved in this groundbreaking study, which culminated in a gorgeous cover spot in the latest issue of Journal of Investigative Dermatology. Ants may feel like unwanted housemates, but they’re actually pretty cool when you give them a chance. This #singlecell RNA-seq study revealed the specific cell type and gene expression programs driving the divergent physiology and behavior of foragers and soldiers in one ant species.
