Other than direct experience in a given technology, one obvious way to enhance your skills would be to earn IT certifications. Look at what jobs you're applying for and see what certifications they list. If earning certifications is a little out of reach (they aren't cheap after all) maybe it's time to get LinkedIn Platinum membership and complete some of the online courses in the LinkedIn Learning section of the website. It might not be the same thing as sitting for an IT certification, but you do get a certificate of completion at the end of each course. It also gives something to talk about during an interview, like Linux or AD, and that can be really valuable too.
