The gap between Junior and Senior is much smaller than people think. Junior's are expected to have a good grasp on quality, but speed, planning, and overall know how can be pretty rough around the edges. The idea is that a junior shows promise and their entire focus is only on the end output, not how they got there or how long it took. A senior will be slightly better than a junior in overall output, but really not by much. What a Senior really has is speed, pure speed in completing tasks. They can see most of the pitfalls and know how to navigate tasks or even see new tasks or know that the task isn't worth doing to begin with because of x,y,and z. So it will come with experience.

You don't need to learn every programming language or every game engine out there. If you know the basics of programming language, you can work with any language you require. Similarly, if you have worked with one game engine, transitioning to another one is relatively easy. Stick with one technology, and learn it. Do some research online to find out what aligns with your interests.

You'll need to upgrade your communication skills to better help others see what you see. You'll definitely get less done at times, but you'll be helping more team members get even more done than ever before.

The biggest jump from junior to senior is probably tasking. Juniors are expected to only do the tasks assigned, as to not cause more issues on production. However, seniors are expected often to make their own tasks or at the very least think of the tasks and try and grasp the scope of a feature based on the description. Seniors will also learn to push back at times. You now have earned more of a say, but with that comes greater responsibility. If a feature goes over scope and you never said anything about it, now that's on you. This is a big shift from early career!
