People generally dislike change, so it is important to be calming voice in the room. You can make a significant difference in the way the change is perceived and ultimately accepted by your employees by the way you handle the change. Find the good in the change and promote it. Don't BS your people, they will see right through that, so it is critical that you study the change thoroughly so that you understand it and can honestly explain why it should be embraced.
