HEINEKEN Vietnam leads the way in Sustainability with Grain-to-Protein Initiative Since 2022, in strategic partnership with Entobel, HEINEKEN Vietnam has successfully increased the value of brewing by-products by converting almost 40,000 tons of spent grain into high-value protein meal, oil, and fertilizer, using insect-based technology. This effort in maximising circularity has recently earned HEINEKEN Vietnam "Raise the Bar on Sustainability & Responsibility" award at the HEINEKEN Global Supply Chain Awards 2024🏆. HEINEKEN Vietnam was thrilled to participate in the Hackathon HCMC hosted by AngelHack last week. The event brought together 255 talented participants, forming 40 dynamic teams to tackle HEINEKEN Vietnam's hackathon challenge. A standout AI image recognition solution by the solo team Proeyes captured our attention and secured the top prize of $3,000. Gavin Pathross, HEINEKEN Vietnam's Digital & Technology Director, shared at the event: “HEINEKEN Vietnam is pushing the boundaries of innovation and embracing digital transformation across our entire value chain. LARUE JOINS HANDS TO PROMOTE LOCAL TOURISM IN CENTRAL VIETNAM Larue, one of HEINEKEN Vietnam's iconic beer brands, has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Da Nang Department of Tourism and the Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to support local tourism. Through the partnership with “Da Nang Festival 2024” and “Quang Nam Green Heritage Region” program, Larue will join hands to introduce a series of activities and experience that reflect the cultural identity of Central Vietnam. For more than a century, Larue Beer has become deeply ingrained in the region’s culinary tradition and local community.
