YES is proud to support the Hackney Jedis basketball team, which just had its end-of-year prize-giving event. There was lots of merriment and good food on offer, not to mention a couple of tiny fans! Well done, Jedis! If you'd like to support clubs like the Hackney Jedis, find the Donate button at yescharity.org.uk #basketball #sportscharity

It's #DisabilityPrideMonth, so this #WednesdayWisdom, we're looking at athletes who have dealt with some form of disability and went on to become stars. There are countless examples in the Paralympics alone but even beyond that, you'll find a lot of inspiring stories. If you'd like to help more young people get into sports, take a look at yescharity.org.uk to make a donation. #sportscharity #jimabbot

There's been a lot of news coming from the Lea Rowing Club last week! Arianna won Championship 8s and is in the GB squad and D'Arcy won Academic 8s! They are both now at Oxford Brooks after being juniors at the Lea Rowing Club where they spent their formative years. Meanwhile, Jess and BB yesterday lost the final at the Henley Women's Regatta to an extremely powerful 2x from Heartbury 64 and other entries. They are now in our 4x for Henley. Both are also close to being selected for the GB squad. We are proud to hear that they were both chosen for European championships but had to decline because of exams. You can help clubs like the Lea Rowing Club with a donation to YES. Find the donate button at yescharity.org.uk #sportscharity #rowing #ukcharity

Have you seen comparisons of gymnasts' perfect scores in the 80's versus today? Athletes are always advancing and the bar is always getting higher. In this case, literally. Is that competitive drive to do better in you? We want to encourage this drive, which is why YES aims to get more young people into different sports. But it takes equipment and mentorship. If you'd like to help out, find the donate button at yescharity.org.uk #sportscharity #londoncharity
