Hallo Albert Heijn! We’re very pleased to announce that Something & Nothing Premium Sodas are now stocked in the Netherland’s largest retailer, with a market share of 37%. Albert Heijn really get it, and us. They’re all about making sure their shoppers have access to delicious drinks that are low in sugar. They also want folks not drinking alcohol to have premium adult feeling options. This “No Low” space is our sweet spot. It represents why we created our drinks in the first place! We started out in 400 Albert Heijn stores. Our Dutch fans thought our better-for-you refreshment was so lekker that we have quickly expanded to over 1000 stores and have also spilled over into Albert Heijn België. With Dry January in full swing, we think pubs and bars still need to up the non-alc ante. Despite the rise and rise of the non-drinking culture (or a less is more approach), many establishments only have sugar laden or boring soda to offer punters who still want to go out and feel like a normal human adult but don't want to drink booze. Our friend Alexis from Hot Chip threw down this gauntlet late last year, so we're throwing in down again here and tagging the pubs we think should stock a better range of more premium and better-for-you options at their bars. If there’s a time and place for a humble brag, it’s at the start of the year, reflecting on the one just gone, when you’re typing up a LinkedIn post. So, without further ado, our highlights from the year that’s been, as we raise a can to another brilliant year ahead: 🌺 Our Hibiscus & Rose Premium Soda received the esteemed 3-Star award from the Great Taste Awards   🍋 Our Yuzu Spritz also scored a Great Taste star, meaning our entire range is now Great Taste certified delicious   🥂 Our drinks were given rave reviews in Vanity Fair, The Stylist Group, SheerLuxe, Forbes, Creative Review, Monocle and Esquire   📸 We got papped in Irina Shayk’s hand   🍟 Alexis from Hot Chip’s declares we’re his fave drink ❤️ We kept revellers in UK, US and Europe refreshed at Soho Works, DAZED Magazine, BBC, Arise, COS and Choose Love 🦘We landed in far flung places, like Down Under (CC Really Good People), just in time for Summer, and in Romania via our friends at OTOTO (possibly the coolest store in Europe)   🥖 We made our way into our favourite fridges in the world in Blue Bottle Coffee, Cafe Kitsune and Blue Stone Lane.   ✅ We won some amazing new retail accounts with Albert Heijn, Fresh Market, World Market = meaning 1000 doors launching in Q124 🎤 We were given some love from our favourite Podcast, How Long Gone, to quote them "it's very cool. Something & Nothing, is it a riddle or a soda brand?"

New year, new habits, new promises to be healthier. We’re always up for any attempts to improve, especially when it comes to limiting fake sweeteners, additives and high calorie products. But we wont ever comprise on flavour and therefore pleasure. This is why we have some natural sugar in our drinks from grape juice, which is balanced with lemon. Our logo is a set of scales for a reason. It’s about balance. And leaning into simple, natural, high-quality ingredients. So, while our drinks do contain sugar from grape juice, one can is the equivalent of eating a carrot. Plus, we’d argue that while yes, our drinks are significantly better for you than the average soda, they also really taste it too. If you're one of those folks who still likes to reach for a can of the trad stuff, consider this your nudge towards a better choice in 2024, without compromising on flavour. Here's to a refreshing, better-for-you 2024.
