We’ve created games in many genres, and we’re a world leader in Collectible Card Games and Driving/Simulation tech. Will be in Brighton tomorrow for Develop. Today though, I’m off to see the King! I will be attending a Royal Reception at Windsor Castle this evening as Stainless Games were a recipient of a Kings’s Award for Enterprise this year.
Work has started on the front of the office. It's a bit noisy but will be worth it! As well as helping to contribute to a more vibrant high street, as part of the wider programme of commercial frontage improvements within Newport, the old shop frontage will be refurbished to accommodate changes designed to be more sympathetic to Newport’s Conservation Area. The work is being done as part of the High Street Heritage Action Zone programme. Funding has come from Historic England, which works with local businesses to help recover High Streets. Amazon Games has revealed New World: Aeternum and Stainless Games are very proud to have supported the Amazon Games team on the console releases. As well as being on consoles there will be new content, including ten-player raids, endgame trials and a new PvP zone. Play solo or utilise cross-platform play to engage in PvP or co-op fun! New World: Aeternum is set to launch on Tuesday, October 15th, on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. PC players who own the previous game will receive an Azoth Stalker wolf mount at release.
This week, some of us from Stainless Games visited the Wight Aviation Museum. We had great fun being hosted by WAM during the visit. Everyone got to play with a brilliant 3D flight simulator, which we recently provided a high-end PC to run on. The exhibit uses a 3D headset, enabling anyone to practice the real-world challenges of flying. It is housed in our genuine Bulldog fuselage, and visitors can use it to experience taking off and flying above the Island. Along with the flight simulators and other amazing exhibits, there is also a playable version of Stainless Games' hit game Red Baron Arcade. Red Baron Arcade was built on Stainless Games' advanced physics code, resulting in an experience that closely mimics flying these early planes.
