How do you know when spreadsheets are no longer appropriate? We've found it's usually when external parties are involved. This is when you begin to run into permission issues, manual updating, and the endless email back-and-forth (followed by more manual updating). With Stacker, you can easily transform spreadsheets into customer and partner portals that fit your brand and your processes, which is exactly what Segment did with their startup program. They ditched the email back-and-forth and manual updates for a branded customer portal and partner portal that communicate with each other, saving loads of time and giving them immediate insights into the effectiveness of the program. Graham Hunter, Senior Startup Program Manager said, "I was looking for something that gave a personalized, logged-in experience. I found Stacker and understood intuitively what it was for." But just how easy was it? Graham continues: ’‘Stacker is so straight-forward that if you understand spreadsheets, then you’ll understand Stacker. Once it’s set-up, it just all sort-of works without you having to do anything." Finally, you can create the software that fits the way you work, with Stacker.

Imagine everything in your company running on a single system, no matter your industry or how unique and complex your processes. This is now a reality for over 88,500 teams that run their operations on Stacker. Because software should fit the way you work, not the other way around.

We hear this all the time, “we’re unique” or “we do things differently here”. We’ve found, over time, that so many businesses are “unique” that being unique is now common. So what do you do if your business and processes are too unique for off-the-shelf software solutions? Well, you need a custom software solution or a continuing commitment to inefficient processes. ✅ Custom software = IT resources, long development time, lots of money ✅ Inefficient processes = work-arounds, inefficiency, lots of headaches We built Stacker to fill this gap. Now anyone, even the most non-technical person or team, can build their own custom software solution with a few clicks of a mouse. And because you understand your unique business and processes better than anyone else, it’s built to fit your needs perfectly - and adapt with you as those needs evolve. Simply put, Stacker is for the “unique”.

Often times, teams who’ve attempted to “fit” their processes into an off-the-shelf software solution become stuck. They’re stuck between: ✅ Adapting the way they work around software that works another way ✅ Going back to manual processes (spreadsheets, emails, etc) One way is too slow and the other too inflexible. And both are painful. We built Stacker as a way “out” of this trap. Instead of having to choose between two options that don’t serve you well, what if you had a tool that allowed you to build exactly the software you need perfectly fit around the way you work? With Stacker, it’s now possible.

The whole point of software is to fit the way you work. But off-the-shelf solutions force teams to manipulate the way they work around the way the software works. This is painful. And the other option is equally painful - running processes manually through spreadsheets, emails, and inefficient work-arounds. Without the technical resources needed to create solutions that fit they way they work, they’re stuck between buying something that doesn’t fit or continuing on with manual, error-prone ways of working that don’t serve them well. We built Stacker to be that technical resource they need - but we built it for non-technical people. This means that now anyone can build the software solutions that fit the way they work perfectly.

Inefficient processes can steal your Friday nights. This became apparent to us while building Stacker. We spoke to someone at Red Bull music on a Friday night who we expected to be: ✅ Out at incredible music venues ✅ Meeting artists ✅ Scoping out new talent But in reality, she was spending her Friday night in a maze of spreadsheets, emails, and royalty payments. This Friday night she was: ✅ Taking the master spreadsheet of all artist ✅ Splitting it into one spreadsheet for every single artist ✅ Mailing that spreadsheet out to them ✅ Waiting a week for responses ✅ Putting it all back into the master spreadsheet She was acting as the presentation layer, security layer, and the business logic layer for the software she needed. Because that software didn’t exist. We see this time and time again. People are acting as the software they need and it’s stealing their time - in this case, even Friday nights. We created Stacker to enable anyone, especially non-technical people, to easily build the applications that fit their processes perfectly. So with just a few clicks, you can get your Friday nights back.
