Our BMW Master-Tech Simon Tyrrell spoke to Pete at Derby Auto Electrical about a MINI. It has Airmass faults and the exhaust gas pressure sensor before the turbo fault. Pete said he would not have found the cause without Simon’s help and info we sent him. We have made a document detailing diagnosis for a blocked sensor pipe and misreading sensor and sent that to Pete. Here’s what Pete had to say: “Thanks very much for the info, the exhaust pressure sensor was fully blocked and so was the pipework. So I cleared the pipework, fitted new sensor. The small, corrugated pipe on the air box had gone brittle so replaced that. Road test OK, much better acceleration now. Thanks very much ! Kind regards, Pete” 🔥Want to speed up your Diagnostic process too? 🔥Click here to find out more 👉 https://bit.ly/3Y6UJeH

We've had some great feedback from Leeford Motor Company The issue was a E89 Z4 roof not working and no faults in the CTM. We checked sensor statuses and all were showing correct. We checked for any other blocking inputs and found that there was a fault in the KOMBI for the outside temperature sensor, open circuit. We checked the live data and it was showing -40. We advised Howard that this would stop the roof from working and said check/repair the wiring and re test. This was Howards feedback – “Hi Simon, just thought I’d let you know that you where spot on with your advice. The outside temp sensor wiring was corroded and gone open circuit. So we soldered a new section of wiring into the loom. Half an hour after speaking to you it was all working again. Cheers pal” Another Happy Customer 😀
