Cheap renewable electricity is possible !

About us

Greenwheel is taking part in the assault on access to electricity for rural populations in Africa using renewable energy ! → Help finance autonomous solar panels thanks to Greenwheel → 11,000 km in Africa on a motorbike There are 750 million people without electricity access in the world. 600 million are in Sub-Saharan Africa. The fastest and cheapest way to provide electricity access to rural communities is through renewable off-grid solutions. These systems are set up locally, powered by the sun or sometimes by a river, and can provide electricity for anything between a single phone charger to a small village. The Greenwheel association was set up to help these communities gain access to electricity from renewable sources. They are three cousins. "We want to deepen our understanding of their needs and share our findings with our partners involved in electrifying these communities." Our partners range from NGOs and news agencies to local private companies offering solar home systems.
