Excited to share our journey in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte for the Agro-Circularity in Renewable Energy (“ACRE”) Project with ACEN, the listed energy platform of the Ayala Group.🌱 Through the "ACRE" Project, we are empowering ACEN’s farmer partners to become agripreneurs, fostering a circular economy within their community. This collaboration creates shared value in achieving food security and building a sustainable agricultural infrastructure. SariSuki is committed to providing training in modern farming techniques, financial literacy, and social entrepreneurship, while also ensuring market linkages from farm to end consumers. Creating "Agripreneurs" for a food-secure Philippines. 🌱 Our collaboration with SariSuki equips local farmers with essential skills such as crop selection, basic business practices like costing, and creating value-added products from their produce. With the initial phase now set within our Conservation Estate in Ilocos Norte, we will work closely with farmers from our host communities and support them in implementing an innovative farm-to-market strategy that aims to increase yields by 50 percent, far exceeding the national average of eight tons per hectare.
