We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Retail Operations Specialist to support our Global Retail Operations team. The Retail Operations Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the execution of day-to-day retail operations activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering a seamless customer experience across all retail channels. Previous experience working in a retail store environment is a plus.


Responsibilities:


  • Help develop and maintain retail operational policies, procedures and best practices to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Collaborate to implement retail operations strategies and initiatives to optimise store performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Work closely with Regional Operations Managers and Store Managers to address operational challenges, resolve issues and implement process improvements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, commercial, CRM, supply chain, retail buying and finance to support integrated retail initiatives and promotions.
  • Support analysis of retail performance metrics, sales data and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct store visits and audits to assess compliance with operational standards, visual merchandising guidelines and inventory management procedures.
  • Provide training, guidance and support to store staff on retail operations processes, procedures and systems.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of store openings, refurbishments and closures as required.
  • Stay abreast of luxury retail trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.



Profile:


  • Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or related field preferred.
  • 4-5+ years' experience in retail operations, preferably in a retail store environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in the execution of operational tasks.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and retail management systems / software.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic environment and work effectively under pressure.
  • Previous experience in inventory management, visual merchandising or store planning is considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of retail industry trends, best practices and customer service principles.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential and other languages would be an advantage.
  • Travel when necessary to support regional retail activities.
