Reporting directly to the Chief Customer Officer – Chef Express, the Digital Product Manager is responsible for driving the development and management of all our digital products throughout their lifecycle, with particular focus on our app and our kiosks.
This is a newly created strategic role, which sits at the epicenter of our digital transformation.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy
Define and articulate the overall product vision and strategy.
Align the product strategy with the company's business goals and objectives.
Market Research
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive products.
Analyze data and user feedback to make informed decisions.
Requirements Gathering
Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, marketing, development teams, and other relevant departments, to gather and prioritize product requirements.
Roadmap Planning
Develop a product roadmap outlining the key features and enhancements over time.
Prioritize features and set realistic timelines for development.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and quality assurance, to ensure the successful execution of the product roadmap.
User Experience (UX) And Design
Work with UX/UI designers to create a user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing product.
Ensure that the product meets or exceeds user experience expectations.
Development Oversight
Monitor the development process, providing guidance and clarifications to the development team as needed.
Conduct regular product reviews and adjust the roadmap as necessary.
Testing and Quality Assurance
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the product meets quality standards.
Conduct testing and validation to identify and address any issues.
Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy
Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for product launches.
Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to promote the product effectively.
Performance Analysis
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of the product.
Use data and feedback to make data-driven decisions for ongoing product improvements.
Iterative Improvement
Continuously iterate on the product based on user feedback, market changes, and performance metrics.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
Stakeholder Communication
Communicate updates, progress, and challenges to stakeholders, including executives and team members.
Team management
Nurture and develop one junior talent
The profile requires:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Digital Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
5+ years of previous experience in product management or related strategic roles.
Demonstrated ability to lead product teams to create and launch new products based on market research, user feedback, and business goals
Excellent project management skills
Expertise in navigating the product development process, balancing customer satisfaction, speed and quality
Understanding of key technologies for web development and application development.
Strong business and commercial acumen
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex problems in simple terms
Passion for food and the world of dining is a plus.
