Join us as we honor the complex work reconstructive plastic surgeons do to restore quality of life for patients! Each year, millions of reconstructive surgeries are performed globally. These procedures address delicate vessels and veins to improve function for patients following traumatic injury, cancer, and other difficult-to-treat conditions. #WorldPlasticSurgeryDay #Symani #Microsurgery

The New Frontier of Robotic Surgery
Chi siamo
Medical Microinstruments, Inc. (MMI) was founded in 2015 near Pisa, Italy. Though the company has grown to over 90 employees, the mission remains the same: to enable surgeons around the world to address unmet patient needs and achieve better outcomes for microsurgical procedures. MMI offers an innovative robotic platform that’s mobile, easy to set-up, compatible with existing surgical microscopes and has a small footprint. The Symani® Surgical System was designed to overcome the complexities and challenges of microsurgery by offering the dexterity to confidently perform microsurgery and suture small, hard to reach anatomy. By combining NanoWrist®, the world’s smallest wristed microinstruments, with 7-20X motion scaling and tremor-reduction, surgeons will be able to revolutionize the approach to microsurgeries. In addition, the Symani Surgical System has the potential to expand human capabilities beyond what’s achievable today to fuel the field of supermicrosurgery. The Symani System is authorized for use in the U.S. by the FDA and is a CE Marked medical device in Europe.
