Acqua di Parma was created in 1916 by the baron Carlo Magnani from Parma as his own personal Colonia. True sophistication never goes unnoticed, and amongst the in the know inner circle, the personal scent grew into a brand, sold mostly through Italian tailors as the finishing touch for sophisticated gentlemen. Today, Acqua di Parma is a symbol of Italian sophistication, discreet luxury, and craftsmanship inspired by its heritage and yet constantly evolving to stay relevant and meaningful. We strive to preserve and perpetuate the unique and vibrant mix of all that we love about Italy - nature, culture, and art, the Italian “Arte di Vivere.” All Acqua di Parma products are made in Italy by traditional craftsmen using only the highest quality materials reflecting our mission to ensure the long-term transmission of sophisticated rituals and authentic values. We have a very selective distribution only through our stores and designated retail partners. Our mission is to share a yellow gift of the Italian Sun, Soul, and Style with the world. A celebration of simplicity, sincerity, and generosity rooted in sun-filled sensations and sophisticated rituals.

    Acqua di Parma had the privilege of participating in the new edition of You & ME Italy in Padua. The event highlighted the engagement of LVMH, its Maisons, partner schools and external collaborators to safeguard craftsmanship and expertise. Focusing on Acqua di Parma’s iconic fragrance, Colonia, participants delved into the evolution of the Maison, from its conception in 1916 to its position in the modern-day landscape, where its essence has been reimagined to resonate with modern sensibilities while staying true to the brand’s rich heritage. The iconic Barberia line took center stage as an homage to heritage and a nod to the future as the Maison reinforces its position in the Lifestyle landscape through the appreciation of life’s small pleasures and the Italian “Arte di Vivere”.     Acqua di Parma x Fornice objects – into the mandarin fields: for Milan Design Week 2024, we brought the splendour of Sicilian mandarin fields right to the heart of Milan, transforming our boutique into a mesmerizing ode to the new Mandarino di Sicilia and its numbered limited-edition Mandarino di Sicilia Millesimato 2022. Our special installation, Acqua di Parma x Fornice Objects – Into the Mandarin Fields, ran from 13th to 21st April, captivating visitors with totems inspired by the lush landscapes of a garden brimming with Mandarin trees. These totems of geometric forms and modular assembly, mirrored the vibrant and sun-drenched essence of Sicily, offering a creative and immersive experience that vividly brought to life the unique terroir defining our new fragrance. During the event, visitors had the opportunity to immerse themselves further with a guided tour, led by an Acqua di Parma fragrance ambassador alongside Chiara Ravaioli, the founder and designer of Fornice Objects. #AcquadiParma #VibrantSophistication #TheArtofPerfume #MilanDesignWeek2024

    We had the pleasure of hosting the talented students from the ESSEC GMBA Luxury Brand Management program at our headquarter in Milan. We delved deep into the realm of Acqua di Parma, focusing on the transformative changes across product lines, social media strategies, trade marketing, and digital platforms. Our iconic fragrance, Colonia, took center stage as we discussed its evolution in the context of our brand's direction. It was fascinating to explore how its essence has been reimagined to resonate with modern sensibilities while staying true to our rich heritage. Following the insightful discussions, the students had the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a hands-on workshop dedicated to experiencing the fragrance firsthand. From understanding its intricate notes to appreciating the artistry behind its creation, it was a sensory journey unlike any other. We're grateful to the ESSEC GMBA Luxury Brand Management program for choosing to collaborate with us and for their keen interest in the nuances of luxury brand management.     In an exclusive collaboration, Acqua di Parma has partnered with Langosteria St. Moritz to present a unique mix of style, luxury, and tradition. The highlight was a specially customized Fiat 500 Jolly Spiaggina, symbol of Italian elegance and lifestyle, reimagined by Garage Italia Customs with wicker details by Bonacina 1889.   Ready to navigate the snowy landscape this unique vehicle, typically reminiscent of Mediterranean shores, has been transformed for the alpine setting. Resplendent in Acqua di Parma's signature yellow the Fiat 500 Jolly Spiaggina showcased the Car Fragrance Diffuser collection on the terrace of the celebrated restaurant.   Hand-made in the finest Italian leather, the Car Fragrance Diffusers reflect the Maison’s commitment to craftsmanship and the essence of the Italian ‘Arte di Vivere’.     Acqua di Parma presents its very first Café, Acqua di Parma Yellow Café, in Seoul.    Designed by Dorothée Meilichzon, this venue blends Italian charm with the energy of the city of Seoul. The establishment, located at Lotte Avenuel Jamsil B1F, is an immersion in the Italian soul, imbued with Milanese aesthetics and the Maison's heritage.    The flowing architecture, with its rounded arches, reflects classic Italian design. The Maison's Art Deco elements, such as the iconic Colonia bottle, are subtly interpreted in columns and tables.     Designed by Dorothee Meilichzon for Acqua di Parma, the new Yellow Café in Korea embodies Italian architectural heritage and Milanese creativity with the dynamic spirit of Seoul. With noble white stone finishing, arches, vaults, and curated details celebrating craftsmanship and the Italian Art of Living, the design also includes bold and vivid influences from the Memphis movement. The temporary pop-up boutique café is bathed in warm, inviting hues of yellow and cream, accented by the brand’s signature color palette. Plush, Acqua di Parma yellow seating offers a cozy ambiance, while round tables emphasize conviviality and sharing. The central kitchen area, flanked by shelves filled with Acqua di Parma products, serves as the bustling heart of the café. The space is elegantly punctuated by artistic fixtures and textured materials that echo the zest of citrus—a nod to the brand’s heritage.     Acqua di Parma had the privilege of participating in the third edition of Show ME Italy at Manifattura Tabacchi in Florence. The event highlighted the commitments of LVMH, its Maisons, partner schools and external collaborators to safeguard savoir-faire. During the event it was possible to experience through interactive workshops some of the Métiers d’Excellence, as well as celebrate all the Virtuosos and Students of the Academy and the Institute of ME. During the event Acqua di Parma’s CEO Giulio Bergamaschi highlighted the significance of 'Made in Italy,' nationally and globally describing it as a strategic resource for Italy and a unique opportunity for young Italians, embodying an ancient tradition of artistic craftsmanship characterized by high specialization, cultural value, and creative freedom. Discussing Acqua di Parma, he emphasized the Italian Art of Making and Living, creating exceptional artistic products and enhancing simple daily moments. Furthermore, the Maison described customer experience as an extension of hospitality, where the Acqua di Parma boutique is envisioned as an Italian architect's home. The Art of Receiving and Gifting were also highlighted as an intrinsic part of the brand’s DNA, most lately celebrated in the brand’s Holiday campaign which figures as an homage to Craftsmanship by reflecting the rich heritage of the Maison uniting skilled artisans in an Italian ‘Teatro’.
