Play a central role in overseeing and coordinating the daily procurement activities related to New Product Introduction (NPI) and supplier generated Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
This hybrid position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the seamless implementation of changes throughout the project lifecycle.
You will be based in Nagykanizsa or Szigetszentmiklós
Your main tasks and key responsibilities will be:
Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with sourcing project managers, category managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand procurement needs for NPI, and ECN processes
Cost and Timeline Management: Develop and manage budgets for procurement activities associated with NPI, project buying, and ECN implementation. Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain timelines that align with project schedules.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, project procurement, and changes introduced through the ECN process.
Supplier Relationship Management: Foster positive relationships with suppliers to ensure ongoing collaboration and responsiveness throughout projects and changes.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of procurement activities, and ECN documentation.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain quality standards for materials and services related to NPI, project procurement, and ECN implementation.
Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, daily purchasers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to NPI, project buying, and ECN processes.
Schedule Management: Develop and maintain schedules for procurement activities, taking into account the critical timelines associated with NPI, project buying, and ECN implementation. Coordinate new projects during the ramp-up phase until the serial production, checking material availability with support of daily purchasing
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance processes related to procurement and change management to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
Proven experience in procurement, project buying, and change management
Strong egotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement
