Our Client is a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry. They are seeking a highly skilled, experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their executive team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the business, making sure that manufacturing, the supply chain, and logistics are all seamlessly integrated to satisfy client needs and uphold strict quality standards.
- Work together with the CEO and executive team to create and carry out strategic initiatives that support the aims and objectives of the business.
- To increase operational effectiveness, save expenses, and improve product quality, identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop, coach, and lead a high-achieving group of directors and managers while promoting an environment of accountability and ongoing development.
- Keep an eye on financial performance, reporting, and budgeting to make sure it fits the company's financial and strategic objectives.
- Keep a laser-like focus on client satisfaction, collaborating closely with the sales and customer support departments to make sure that clients' demands are satisfied.
- Ensure that all operations adhere to industry norms and laws, keeping a close eye on environmental sustainability and safety.
- Promote innovation and operational excellence by implementing novel technology and techniques.
Your Qualifications and Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a similar discipline (a master's degree is desirable).
- Proven track record in top management roles within the automotive industry.
- Excellent knowledge of quality control, supply chain management, and automotive manufacturing processes.
- Proven capacity for creating and carrying out strategies that promote operational excellence.
- Strong team management and leadership abilities, demonstrated by a history of creating and managing high-achieving teams.
- Excellent financial sense, with background in performance management, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Superior ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, including the capacity to work well with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A dedication to quality, safety, and ongoing development.
