You will Not see this Aorta a lot ! The First case in the World using fully minimally invasive technology to treat this disease. A 57-year-old male patient who complained from a severe chest and abdominal pain for more than 15 hours. Surprisingly, the CT showed a Double #Aortic Arch, the left common #carotid artery and left subclavian artery originate from the anterior arch, and the right common carotid artery and right #subclavian artery originate from the posterior arch. The dissection involves the right subclavian artery and the right common carotid artery. One Aortic Stent graft is implanted in each arch, and both distal ends are parallelly intersected in the descending aorta's main stent graft to ensure the isolation of aortic dissection without affecting the original anatomical structure. The right common carotid artery and right subclavian artery of the posterior arch were reconstructed using the in-situ fenestration needle. Final angiography showed that the breach was completely covered, each branch artery on the arch was unobstructed and the distal end of the stent grafts was unobstructed. Results were remarkable and there were no complications even after more than 2 years of follow-ups. And no doubt it's all supplied by Lifetech Scientific Corporation. Done by Professor Zhou Weimin’s team from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University in China. #endovascular #TEVAR
